Design Overview

- **Rust-red wide-leg pants:** A medium-weight **woven jacquard or brocade** would suit the ornate gold paisley sections. For the plain sections, use a coordinating **cotton twill or linen blend**. - **Patterned fitted top:** **Stretch jacquard** or **printed stretch jersey** would give the close fit. Nonstretch brocade could work with lining and a zipper. - **Cream sleeves:** **Cotton–spandex jersey** for a smooth, fitted sleeve. - **Cream corset-style waist panel:** **Embroidered lace over a firm cotton backing**. Add boning only if you want it to hold a structured shape. - **Decorative edges and straps:** **Gold-and-rust woven braid or jacquard ribbon**, with matching patterned cuffs **cotton-blend jacquard for the patterned areas, twill for the plain pants, and stretch jersey for the sleeves**. That would capture the look without making the entire outfit stiff or heavy.
